So now when you have decided to get your home an air-conditioning system you might be confused about which system to purchase or which HVAC company to reach for. Do not panic you just need to understand your requirements, home construction and location to the correct one.
The efficiency of the HVAC or the, Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning system depends upon the installation of the HVAC system. For people who are not known to HVAC systems. Here is an introduction to HVAC system.
What HVAC means?
HVAC stands for “Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning”. These three functions are often combined into one system to facilitate modern homes. These systems are most commonly placed in the central room of your house as it is the most convenient and quiet way to for cooling our house.
The HVAC warms cools and also exsiccate air flow through a series of tube called duct. Your HVAC consumes huge amount of energy units until and unless you live in an amazing temperature. The whole of the energy bills can be kept in control if paired with an energy efficient device such as heat-pump, furnace or air- conditioner.
How do they function?
Split systems are the one having both condenser and evaporators. The prior job of the air conditioner is transfer of heat from indoor unit or evaporator coil to outdoor unit or condenser and vice-versa. For example, during summers the warm air present inside is taken by the system and moved outside leaving cool air inside the room which is again and again circulated in the same motion.
The whole process is carried out with the help of refrigerant. It works as-
The compressor in the A.C. changes the refrigerant into a high temperature gas which flows through the outdoor coil and looses heat. This makes the refrigerant at high pressure liquid flowing though the copper tube located into the evaporator coil which is placed in the coil of the fan or is attached to the furnace.
During this time the liquid gas is turned into low temperature gas taking away heat from the duct and hence filling whole of your room with cool air. During this time the low temperature and pressure of the liquid moves in a cycle to the compressor to cool 5th air again.
The process of an air conditioner is as above explained. So now you need to estimate the space and location in which you want your HVAC to be placed so that the process discussed above can be smoothly performed.
If you are still confused about which HVAC to buy you can consult to various HVAC companies which are working hard every day to provide you with best of their services.
